Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Representative Freelance (contracting position with 1099 form for US Person only, not sponsoring visa for this position for the moment) in the Boston Massachusetts area to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the responsibility to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective Biotechs, Medtechs and Pharma companies
  • Build long-term relationships with new customers and specifically with clients' clinical operations, regulatory and quality departments
  • Promote the company’s products/services to Biotechs, Medtechs and Pharma companies
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the life sciences industry, specifically the Biotech, Medtech and Pharma industry
  • Knowledge of privacy laws would be an asset
  • Thorough, dynamic, autonomous and proactive person.
  • Strong network in the life sciences industry that will allow to develop and accelerate client portfolio
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in English. Fluency in French would be advantageous.
  • Ability to travel once a year to France

Compensation

Success fee rate to be negotiated and calibrated for Boston lifestyle.
